What is the student council
The Student Council is a representative body that represents the voice of students within the university. It is a group of students elected to represent the interests of fellow students and ensure the best possible study experience. The council works closely with university administrators, faculty and other relevant parties to improve the quality of education, facilities and general conditions for students.
In addition, the student council plays an important role in promoting student participation and involvement. They organize events and other activities to strengthen the student community and give students the opportunity to have their voices heard. Council members serve as the link between students and university policies, and they strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment in which all students feel heard and represented. Through collaboration and communication, the student council works to improve education and create a positive and stimulating learning environment for all students.
Committees
The FSR FNWI has several committees, each focusing on specific aspects of student council work. Here are brief descriptions of some of these committees:
Facilities and Public Relations Committee
The Facilities and Public Relations Committee (FPC) is responsible for improving faculty facilities and increasing student council awareness. They manage the council’s social media accounts, organize events and promote student involvement in council activities.
Education and Regulations Committee
The Education and Regulations Committee (ORC): The ORC focuses on overarching educational issues at the faculty. They address issues such as teaching quality, collaboration with other universities, communication within the faculty and future vision of the university. They work closely with various stakeholders to solve problems and make improvements in education. The ORC is also concerned with studying and evaluating regulations and procedures within the faculty and university. They ensure that the regulations are up-to-date and make changes as needed. They are also involved in recommending and reviewing new programs and appointments of teaching and program directors.
